Detox rule number one is to drink plenty of water (around 8-10 glasses a day depending on your activity levels). 


Water itself doesn’t neutralize toxins, but water is important for the kidneys to function efficiently - as they use water to flush out waste products or toxins. If you don’t drink enough water, your kidneys cannot actively throw out metabolic wastes and may in turn hold on to toxins instead of excreting them
